A life really isn't a story, it doesn't have a setup, plot developement, satisfying conclusion etc. I have spent far too much time in my life trying to force events into a particular story, trying to go from the Beginning of the story into the Middle, with plot development and all. I'll be here in the long beginning, watching opportunities (that I could never have gotten) be wasted and watching possible wondrous futures (that would never realistically happen) disappear.
But while I'm here, I might as well make some good music, and decorate the edges of my little bubble of influence in between sporadic struggles for grandness. I'm no longer afraid of being a little pretentious.
